Great food, large portions but at my last visit I was shocked to see they charged .50 for rocks in my alcoholic drink. Really, charging for ice. Poor!

This truly is the best. I stayed at a hotel that referred me to Al's, and WOW. My next trip to IL centers around getting to Al's. Definitely sharing portions. Food is fabulous. I hope you are hungry for steak when it comes to this place. The food is EXCELLENT!! Just remember to take your leftovers home (YOU WILL HAVE SOME). I have been to many steak places but this one tops them all for a family type setting.

Food portions are great for the price, big steaks. However, size of salads, potatoes, soup & bread have been reduced! Go for the steaks!

excellent. The food was delicious it melted in your mouth. The steak
had a wonderful color and it was soft and the flavors where out of this world.
