When I see a fully packed resturant with a waiting line, then it must be good! We ate there last night and the food and service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back! By the way, three of us were born and raised in the UK.

The Mac & Cheese here is to die for. Best since Mama made it from scratch.
Will go back again and again just for the Mac & Cheese.

Probably won't go back - We were looking forward to a new local restaurant for us, but was disappointed. We thought the prime rib (on special) was overly expensive, and it was cold, poorlly cooked and lacked taste. I have eaten at this resturant for the previous 6 yrs and have enjoyed the food greatly and have really enjoyed the new staff which is very pleasant and welcoming.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner about two months ago and we loved the home made bread and the fish 'n chips. However, our recent visit was not a good one. They changed the home made bread to simple rolls and they also changed the fries which were smaller and definitely over cooked.

Food was Ok. The menu seemed more like food that would fit in a polish or german diner rather than an english pub and the server was a close talker. I guess I expected the food to be better (less local diner-ish) and more fitting with the great atmosphere.

Fantastic food... the beer battered chicken and chips were excellent! Compared to pubs in England, you can't beat Chequers for authentic British atmosphere, cider, and ale. And the Beatles music made the whole experience totally unforgetable! We will definitely return.
