Review by Wife of+former+Brookfielder for Mama Barone’s Pizza

This place USED to be good (30+ years ago), although one time when we were there (in the mid '70s), "Mama Barone" was at the cash register. Our bill was something like $8.25. I gave her a $10 bill, expecting $1.75 in change. Instead, she demanded a quarter from me. I explained to her that I didn't have a quarter, but she began screaming at me: "Gimme da quarter, you gotta da quarter, I KNOW you gotta da quarter!" Finally a 40-something guy - who I assumed was her son - intervened and handled the situation (in a condescending way toward me.) Fast forward about 20 years. Mama Barone gone (dead, I would think) and the food terrible.
