I grew up with Carm's (the original one on Roosevelt Road in Berwyn, which is long gone) - this is the only Carm's left, I believe, and it is still the standard by which I judge all other Italian beef sandwiches. Whenever I come home for a visit I always, ALWAYS stop here on the way home because I miss having a decent beef sandwich...I wish they shipped!
