Review by Debbie for Magic Wok Restaurant
We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area for several years, and finally found it! I picked up an order last night and was amazed. The small wonton soup is a meal in itself - wontons stuffed with pork, with barbecued pork and vegetables about an inch thick in the bottom of the container. They truly don't use MSG - when I woke up this morning I wasn't bloated and/or thirsty. Egg rolls were fantastic, not a bit greasy. Shrimp Egg Foo Young was outstanding (again, not greasy) as was the gravy, and the shrimp fried rice was excellent. I can't wait to try the Sunday buffet for $11.75. Restaurant is very clean, nice atmosphere and quite large, so getting a table wouldn't be a problem. They now deliver from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Their menu is extensive and contains items you usually find only in Chinatown. My order, small soup, 2 egg rolls, 2 egg foo young patties, and shrimp fried rice, came to $19, and we have enough food for hubby's dinner tonight! You might find cheaper Chinese places in the area, but you won't find a better one. Worth every penny. I would rate this a definite 5.
