Review by Localyokel for Prickly Pear

Don't be surprised if dinner takes 3+ hours, but if you aren't in a hurry, you will enjoy up to 8 courses of great food. The night we went (Saturday in November,2009) appetizers were broiled rumaki (bacon-wrapped date stuffed with a little blue cheese)and proscuitto-wrapped scallop, thin crust pizza with creative toppings, a pastry puff with artichoke and parmesan, and that all came before the salad, butternut squash soup served in a martini glass, paella and country ribs. The value could not be matched at $40 per person. BYOB! We walked a couple blocks down to 7-11 and picked up a cold six pack. We spent time talking to Mickey, who really wanted to know what we liked
