Review by NewYorkFoodie for Yau’s Place

I am from LaGrange but have moved to New York, and whenever I come back to Chicago, I always go to Yau's place. The food is absolutely wonderful [I recommend the Green Beans in Ginger curry dish]! Even though many of the dishes are standard fare for most American Thai/Chinese restaurants, they have unique recipes, which is a nice break from a lot of the more homogenized Thai restaurants around [except for Cida Thai, which is also great!]. Fresh ingredients, great decor, very sweet staff.
